The mission of Nourish is to provide a tangible response to the urgent needs of students in our community that have been adversely affected by the pandemic. We believe that access to nutritional and enjoyable food is a right of everyone, not only reserved for those that can afford it. By doing this, we are following the call in Matthew 14:16 to not send others away when they are hungry, but to instead feed them.
Our Process
How we work.
Nourish is available for any Messiah University Student who has a need for food or hygiene products due to financial limitations. If you have an interest in receiving any products from Nourish simply stop by during our scheduled hours; we are located on the bottom floor of the Agapé Center (please use the side door facing the Engle Center when entering). Upon entering you will be given a checklist with all of Nourish’s available items. You may then choose which items you have a need for and someone will get those for you. Then you’ll be on your way, free of charge.
